Olympic Fever on Green and Gold Day
On Friday 9 August, we came together as a school community to support our Aussie athletes and share in the excitement of the Olympic Games. Our students showed their national pride by wearing their best green and gold outfits and participating in our very own mini-Olympics.
After rotating through mini-hurdles, javelin, discus and basketball drills; our events concluded with screams of “Aussie, Aussie, Aussie”. The afternoon was filmed and shared on Stan Sports Olympic program in mid-August.
